Bubble Wrap
As much as I`d like to place complete trust in the postal system within this country I`d never send a parcel without making sure that the item insides was carefully enclosed within a decent layer of Bubble Wrap. I know that if I didn`t follow this procedure the item would arrive at its destination in more than one piece. Obviously depending on the item that is being delivered, the postal service can`t be blamed if careful measures haven`t been taken when preparing postal items for their travels. Good quality Bubble Wrap isn`t that expensive to buy but it proves to be a worthy ally when it comes to sending all types of packages. Products can be wrapped in this protective material and the thousands of bubbles within the packaging will provide adequate protection until the goods reach their final destination. Whenever I receive goods through the post that are encased in Bubble Wrap I always make sure I keep it to one side ready for use again in the future. Online auctions have become increasingly popular in the past few years and people are sending more items through the post as a result and need to make sure they are wrapped with care during their travels.

Grade Structure Review
I work in Manchester for a large insurance firm and, as I am the manager of the secretarial team, I was called into a meeting the other day to discuss a Grade Structure Review for my team. Obviously, as within all large firms, there are different grades within every team. Within my team there are very many different levels that the staff work at, from a clerical assistant right up to the personal assistant to the chairman. However, in the meeting, the human resources felt that it was necessary to have a Grade Structure Review of my department because they did not feel that the staff had enough room to manoeuvre in the pay department. They felt that a Grade Structure Review would enable all members of the team to fulfil their potential without encountering any glass ceilings along the way. They argued, and I agreed with them, that a move such as this would only make the staff more motivated and determined to do well. I am looking forward to telling my team about this development as I am sure they will be as pleased about it as I am.
