Reward Consultant
My best friend`s husband is what is known as a Reward Consultant. When I first heard about his job I was really intrigued as to what a Reward Consultant was as I had never heard of one before. My friend explained his job in detail and it turned out that a Reward Consultant is somebody who advises companies on how to structure pay and benefits for their employees. Obviously, this is a really responsible job and my friend`s husband is suitably high powered for such a position. I know that he must be doing very well in his job as they are always taking fantastic holidays on his salary alone as my friend does not work as she has three young children at home. Although my friend`s husband is the one with the responsibility for paying for all of the bills in the house he never makes my friend feel guilty or less equual to him and I really respect him for that. I have seen so many marriages break down because the higher earning partner cannot help but feel resentful towards the person with the lesser salary. I just hope my husband would be the same if we were in their position.

Office Supplies
I sell Office Suppliesfor a living and it is a job that I have done since leaving school twenty years ago. Obviously, when I first started selling Office SuppliesI was not anywhere near as far up the career ladder as I am now. In fact, like most people, I started at the bottom and worked my way up. Although I had never been particularly interested in Office Suppliesbefore, I sort of fell into the position and I must say that I have not looked back since. Many people might think it is quite boring to sell Office Supplieson a daily basis but, I must say, that over the years I have built up my regular clients and it is a real pleasure to do business with them. I have worked my way up to the post of area manager now and this involves travel throughout the north west of England on a daily basis. I really enjoy this travelling and meeting lots of different people and I have learned plenty of sales techniques over the years. It comes as second nature to me now to meet new people and chat easily with them and this really helps me with my accounts. I can honestly say that I am really happy in my work and would not change it for anything.
